The silk taffeta fabric lends itself beautifully to the design - meaning details like lightly puffed shoulders and an option to wear the collar portion opened or closed do stay in place.
Pleats descend from the banded waist all the way around, giving the full-length skirt it its volume while accentuating the waist.
The hook-and-eye system down the center of the dress ends at mid-thigh, meaning there is an option to show some leg! The dress has beautiful movement, and there are pockets at the hip.
